QuaDror é um sistema estrutural que tem a capacidade de se adaptar a uma grande variedade de funções, soluções e configurações, em diversas situações possíveis.

O sistema geométrico é articulado com 4 peças idênticas (em L) que formam uma estrutura de sustentação mútua. O travamento dessas peças independentes gera uma impressionante eficiência estrutural: QuaDror tem uma capacidade de resistência às cargas verticais e horizontais que um pórtico tradicional retangular.

Segundo o NYTimes o uso que mais anima Dror é o da habitação de emergência: “QuaDror Home” é um kit com instruções, ferramentas e articulações universais – para que os membros estruturais (de bambu, madeira, etc) possam ser montados. O fato do enquadramento e das vigas usarem materiais locais, permite a integração de um contexto cultural, económico e ecológico na construção.
